P12 Pump Kit A w/ UPSW-3-22 Trap for Shower Trays (with 1x Flow Switch)

The P12 shower waste water pump is designed for use when gravity drainage is unavailable.

Quiet and maintenance-free, this pump will easily cope with hair, shower gels and small obstructions that would normally cause a blockage.

This P12 pump is supplied with a McAlpine UPSW-3-22 Pumped Shower Tray Waste and can be used with any electric or mixer shower which will require an extra Flow Switch for fitting to hot feeds of mixer showers.

Shower tray compatibility:

• For use with level access or low level shower trays - limited floor excavation may be required
• Please refer to waste dimensions above for guidance
• For optimum performance of 12 litres per minute, pump is recommended to be installed no higher than 350mm from the top of the waste outlet to the underside of the wall plate
• The maximum length of the flexible pipe from the waste to the pump should be no more than 2m
• Can be retrofitted and is compatible with all wastes with a 22mm outlet
• If you want to use larger outlet pipework a suitable 22 - 40mm connector can be used
• The pump can be installed up to a maximum of 500mm but this will reduce the pump's overall performance
• Install so that the outlet side of the pump is slightly higher than the soil pipe connection, this will ensure a clean flow away from the pump, and help to keep the pipework clear

Shower compatibility:

• Suitable for electric showers - includes 1x Flow Switch which should be installed in the cold water supply
• Suitable for mixer showers - select an additional Flow Switch (Product Code: 05PP11) for the hot water supply
• If you are installing a Redring Selectronic Premier WP, Mira Advance ATL Flex Extra or the Triton Safeguard+
• When linking directly with a AKW, Mira Advance Flex Extra or Redring Selectronic Premier WP, Re-tighten the gland and connect the electric shower cables to the terminals marked flowswitch
