Push-in Door Stops

An Emergency Release works as the door stop in normal day-to-day use but can be either depressed or removed in the event of an emergency and therefore allow the door to be swung outwards to gain access.

Ideal for healthcare applications where the stop can be removed to gain emergency access if, for example, a patient has collapsed against the back of the door. All emergency releases require the door to be operable in both directions, therefore the door must be hung on a pivot or floor spring.

The Royde & Tucker H131-105 wedge shape and the H131-106 plunger are suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors.

It is advisory to fit brush strips for privacy and draught proofing.
