Washbasins, Wastes & Pressalit Accessories
Ergonomic washbasins, flexible water and waste connections, specialist traps and Pressalit PLUS wall-track components for building adaptable bathroom installations that can move without compromising usability.
01. Basin Geometry, reach, bowl depth and bracket compatibility
02. Services Flexible water feeds, wastes and traps that move safely
03. Infrastructure Pressalit PLUS tracks for adaptable equipment positioning
01 Approach the basin Ergonomic shapes help seated users position themselves closer to the bowl and controls.
02 Allow it to move Flexible feeds and waste connections follow the basin through its adjustment range.
03 Adapt the room Pressalit PLUS tracks can allow compatible bathroom products to move sideways or be repositioned.
The lift is only the mechanism
A successful adjustable washbasin depends on everything attached to it
A basin lift can move the washbasin to a comfortable height, but that movement affects the basin, tap, hot and cold feeds, waste connection and surrounding bathroom layout.
The basin needs to be compatible with the selected bracket and shaped appropriately for the intended user. The services beneath it need enough movement to follow the basin without being pulled tight or obstructing knee space.
For more adaptable environments, Pressalit PLUS adds another layer: selected bathroom equipment can be mounted to a wall-track system, allowing its position to change as the room, user or care situation changes.
Build from the user outwards
One system, three interfaces
01
User to washbasin
Choose the width, front profile, bowl depth and tap position around reach and seated approach.
02
Washbasin to lifting bracket
Confirm fixing centres, basin weight and compatibility with the exact lifting or track-mounted bracket.
03
Moving basin to fixed services
Select flexible water and waste components long enough for the complete vertical or horizontal travel.

Shape matters when the user needs to get closer
A height-adjustable bracket solves the vertical position, but the basin itself determines how close the user's body can get to the tap, bowl and front edge.
Concave front profiles Curved or recessed front edges can reduce the reach distance to the centre of the basin.
Shallow overall depth A compact bowl and carefully planned trap arrangement can help preserve useful knee space beneath.
Integrated grip areas Selected Pressalit MATRIX basins incorporate front gripping areas for additional support around the basin.
Bracket compatibility Always pair the washbasin with the fixing pattern and weight limits specified for the chosen adjustable bracket.
Do not let fixed plumbing defeat an adjustable basin
A moving washbasin needs water and waste connections that can accommodate its complete travel. The correct solution depends on how far the basin moves vertically, whether it also moves sideways and how much space is available beneath it.
Flexible waste systems
Extending waste hoses allow drainage to follow the basin through its height adjustment rather than relying on a rigid fixed pipe.
Shallow & waterless traps
Compact trap arrangements can reduce the amount of equipment occupying the valuable knee-clearance zone beneath the basin.
Drain fittings
Complete the basin with a compatible plug, waste or drain fitting appropriate to its overflow configuration.
Specify for the complete movement
The required hose length depends on how the basin moves
Do not select flexible services simply because they fit at one height. Check the complete path between the lowest and highest positions—and sideways travel where a Pressalit track is used.
Vertical movement
Leave enough service length for the complete rise-and-fall range, while preventing loops from becoming trapped, stretched or positioned where they reduce leg clearance.
Sideways movement
A basin moving along a horizontal PLUS track requires enough service length and a suitable routing arrangement for the intended lateral travel.
Combined movement
Where both height and sideways position change, specify the plumbing around the furthest possible combination of movements, not just the nominal installation position.
The wall becomes adaptable
Move bathroom equipment instead of permanently fixing every position
The Pressalit PLUS system is built around wall tracks that allow compatible products to be mounted, repositioned and—in selected configurations—removed or moved between locations.
Horizontal PLUS wall tracks Allow compatible washbasin brackets, support arms and other products to move sideways along the wall.
Vertical track components Used within selected PLUS configurations to provide additional height positioning or mounting flexibility.
Track-mounted accessories Baskets, brackets and other fittings can make use of the same adaptable infrastructure.
Designed for changing requirements Equipment can be positioned around different users rather than forcing every user into one fixed bathroom layout.
More than a single rail
Build the PLUS track system around the products it needs to carry
The current category includes the track infrastructure itself and ancillary components used to complete or extend a Pressalit PLUS installation.
Horizontal tracks
The principal mounting rail for compatible PLUS products that need to move sideways along the bathroom wall.
Track stops & seals
Components used to control movement, close the track system and complete the installation correctly.
Storage baskets
Track-mounted storage for washcloths, toiletries, waste and other items that need to remain within reach.
Brackets & fittings
Specialist mounting accessories for selected cupboards, shower mixers and other compatible PLUS equipment.
Compatibility matters
Treat the bracket, basin, track and plumbing as one specification
Products from these ranges are often designed around particular basin dimensions, fixing patterns and movement systems. A basin that physically fits the space is not automatically suitable for every adjustable bracket.
Pressalit PLUS compatibility: current PLUS components should be matched with the corresponding PLUS track system. Do not assume older Pressalit tracks and current PLUS components are interchangeable. Check the exact product compatibility and current installation instructions before ordering.
Before ordering
Six interfaces to check before completing the washbasin system
These components are closely connected. Confirm the full assembly before fixing plumbing, manufacturing panels or finishing the wall.
Basin compatibility
Check fixing centres, basin weight, dimensions and the manufacturer's approved bracket combinations.
Required movement
Establish the complete vertical and, where relevant, horizontal travel before choosing feeds and waste systems.
Feed connections
Confirm hose length, tap connection type and the location of the fixed isolating valves.
Waste route
Plan the flexible waste so it can move freely while maintaining effective drainage throughout the adjustment range.
Knee clearance
Keep traps, hoses and other services away from the space required for seated approach wherever possible.
Wall construction
Adjustable brackets and wall tracks require suitable structural fixing. Coordinate reinforcement before the wall finish is completed.
Check the exact products together: hose lengths, basin fixing centres, waste connections, track compatibility and mounting requirements vary between systems. Always work from the current technical information for the basin, bracket, services and track components being combined.
Complete the specification
