Cancellations and Returns
Your Right to Cancel
We realise that in some circumstances you may wish to cancel an order. Subject to our Terms and Conditions (Item 11) which can be viewed in the “Information" section of our website.
In the UK you have a legal right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, to cancel your order before delivery or within fourteen (14) days starting the day after the day on which the last of the goods came into your physical possession or the person, we have been asked to deliver your goods to.

Each Product page on our web site states the "Returns Status" of the product you are purchasing and where items are non-returnable. And in Our Terms and Conditions which are also accessible via a link in your order confirmation, sent to your email address provided.
Please note there are certain situations where you cannot as a Consumer or Commercial customer cancel your order or return item(s).

Items that have been custom made to your specification, such as half-height shower doors or other bespoke made products such as height adjustable worktop frames.

Batteries and any electrical/technical products which have been unsealed.

Any product of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - such as baby changing mattresses, changing tables, toilet seats, toilets, and bidet seats etc.

And any items you have requested we procure especially for you that are not on our web site.

The product has been fitted, used, or assembled with other products supplied or otherwise.
Whilst products are in your possession, you have a duty to take reasonable care of them.

How to Return a Product
If you have received product(s) your wish to return within the fourteen (14) day right to cancel period, please click this link for our Returns Form.
Orders received from Independent 4 Life and delivered by “DHL or DPD” are to be returned to:

Please note you are responsible for insuring the goods and the returning shipping costs.
For all other deliveries received, which are normally larger packaged items, shipped directly from our Approved suppliers. In these situations, please click here to Contact Us, confirming your Order Number and we will advise by email the correct Returns Address and provide any additional forms if required.
If you are unable to arrange the return insurance and shipping, please contact our Customer Service team, where possible we will provide costs or arrange for a quotation, which if accepted will be deducted from your refund. Please note: For Commercial customers, we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee, shipping and any customs fees if applicable. We work with our suppliers to reduce this as much as possible. But we are unable to absorb the costs outright.
What Gets Refunded
If you are returning goods to Independent 4 Life Limited at your own expense once the products have been inspected and cleared. You will be refunded the original purchase price and any standard shipping costs.
If we arrange for the return insurance and shipping this will be deducted from the purchase price and you will be refunded the difference.
If the product(s) are received back damaged, or have been fitted and or used, we will contact you to discuss the return shipping of your products.
When Will you Receive your Refund?
Refunds for orders cancelled / returned under the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act will be processed in accordance with your legal rights. Refunds will be made within 14 days if you are returning goods.
Refunds will be made to your card of payment or PayPal account. This can take up to 7 working days, depending on your card provider and card type which is beyond our control.
Please note: These conditions do not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local authority's Trading Standards Department or a Citizens Advice Bureau.
Checking your Order: Reporting Damaged / Missing Products – Notify within 48 hours
When we or our supplier dispatch goods to you and close your order as complete, we endeavour to notify you that your order has been dispatched. Upon receipt of your order, we request that you open and check your delivery for any damages or shortages.
Unfortunately, products do get damaged in transit by the courier companies, which is beyond our control. It is important that any damages or shortage are notified to us within 48 hours. Failure to do so, could invalidate a claim and make it harder for our approved supplier to make a claim on the courier company.
If a product arrives damaged, please take images of the damaged packaging and the damaged product. Then email these jpeg images to our customer services team via email to [email protected] quoting your name and order number and provide any other relevant information.
We will arrange for a replacement to be delivered and usually the damaged item to be collected.

Faulty Products within 30 Days
In accordance with your legal rights, if any product you purchase from Independent 4 Life develops a fault within 30 days we will offer a refund, or repair as appropriate.
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact our Customer Service team for help and support if you are unsure.

Our policy on faulty products does not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty Products within Manufacture Warranty
Independent 4 Life, retail a large range of quality products from many different British and European manufactures who offer different lengths of warranties and levels of support.
We endeavour to make it clear on our product pages the Manufacture warranty period for your piece of mind.

Please note: If a replacement part or product is required, we will only dispatch this to the original delivery address. If a faulty item is deemed to be caused by negligence, misuse, or modification no refund (Product, delivery charge, or return postage) will be made.
Granberg Manufacture Warranty
As United Kingdom main dealers for Granberg of Sweden, the standard warranty is 2 years from receipt of the delivery. By arrangement prior to purchase for a fee the warranty can be extended up to 5 years subject to Granberg’s agreement.
We have a UK mainland nationwide agreement with Essential Healthcare, whose staff are fully CRB vetted who undertake any warranty inspections and works as required.
Post warranty we can offer continued product support as required, at competitive prices.
