Complete stainless-steel worktops with integrated 120mm shallow bowls, heat-insulated undersides and layouts designed around accessible, height-adjustable kitchens.
Sink and work surface formed as one complete unitMore than a sink dropped into a worktop
Granberg's ERGO stainless-steel worktops cover the complete worktop unit rather than relying on a separate sink mounted into another surface. Bowl, draining area and working surface therefore form one continuous stainless-steel installation.
The bowls are only 120mm deep, helping preserve more usable space below the sink for a seated user's legs and knees. The underside is heat insulated, while flexible waste components help the plumbing work with compatible height-adjustable kitchen systems.
Different models then add one bowl, two bowls or a hob cut-out depending on how much of the kitchen needs to be combined into the same surface.
The dimension that matters most for accessibility
A conventional deep bowl occupies more of the space beneath the worktop. For a seated user, that can push the knees away from the front edge and increase reach to the tap and bowl.
The ERGO range uses 120mm-deep bowls throughout. Combined with heat insulation beneath the sink and low-profile drainage, the design is intended to make the washing area more practical in accessible and height-adjustable kitchens.
Decode the five product families
The model code tells you the basic arrangement. The live product page then provides the available widths and any project-specific options.
Compact single-bowl worktop with stainless-steel drying and preparation area. Reversible for left- or right-hand use.
Two shallow bowls in a relatively compact configuration for separate washing and rinsing tasks.
A larger two-bowl arrangement where more washing capacity is preferred while retaining 120mm bowl depth.
Compact mini-kitchen worktop combining a single shallow bowl with preparation for a two-zone electric hob.
The largest integrated format, combining two shallow bowls with space for a four-zone hob. Hob opening can be customised by agreement.
Engineering beneath the visible surface
The accessible details are not limited to the 120mm bowl. Heat, drainage and structural support all occupy the space beneath the worktop.
Insulation beneath the bowl helps reduce the risk of hot sink surfaces contacting a user's knees or legs where the area below is open.
Basket wastes, shallow traps and flexible waste components help keep services organised while accommodating compatible height-adjustable worktop movement.
The 1mm smooth stainless-steel sheet is bonded to a fully glued board beneath, giving the complete sit-on worktop a stable structure for installation and fixing.
Designed around Granberg worktop systems
Granberg's stated dimensions account for the way these worktops sit on compatible adjustable kitchen systems, rather than simply matching a standard cabinet size edge-to-edge.
The worktops are designed to leave approximately 15mm at the wall side for splash protection in Granberg height-adjustable arrangements.
Widths are intentionally slightly shorter than nominal system widths so a small gap can remain to adjacent cabinets or walls.
The worktops can be used in left- or right-hand arrangements, allowing the bowl and working area to follow the room layout.
Granberg allows custom widths, bowl positions or hob openings on selected made-to-order configurations. Confirm the exact requirement before manufacture.

Made by Granberg
Granberg's ERGO worktops are part of a wider system of lifting frames, shallow sinks, taps, safety components and storage designed around accessible kitchen use. Coordinating those components early helps preserve reach, knee space and safe movement.
