The first question is frequency
That question usually determines the right lifting technology. A bathroom set to one person's preferred height and adjusted only occasionally has very different requirements from a shared bathroom where several people change the basin height every day.
Granberg's range covers both situations. Manual systems provide a simpler way to set or periodically change the height, while electric models allow the user to reposition the basin using a hand control.
The next decisions are whether the mirror should move with the basin, whether plumbing needs to be concealed and whether the installation should be wall-mounted or use a pedestal-style floor-supported arrangement.
Consider Basicline 401 or 403 for occasional manual adjustment.

01 Manual + mirror Wall-mounted manual system with an integrated mirror and overhead LED light that move together with the washbasin. Designed for occasional height changes.
02 Occasional manual A low-profile wall-mounted bracket with stepless manual adjustment using a socket wrench. Ideal where the height is set for a user and changed only occasionally.
03 Gas assisted A manually operated wall-mounted system with a built-in gas spring to assist movement. No adjustment tools are required, and a useful shelf sits behind the washbasin.
04 Electric pedestal Electric pedestal-style basin lift with clean service covers and no integrated mirror, making it easy to coordinate with an existing mirror, cabinet or bathroom design.

Basicline 415, Designline 417 and Basicline 433 all provide 250mm of continuously variable electric adjustment. The choice comes down to how the system should look, how it should be supported and whether the mirror and lighting should move too.
Clean & adaptable The simplest route into Granberg's electric range. The basin lift does not dictate the mirror above it, making it easy to integrate into different bathroom schemes.
Designline The statement system. Basin, mirror and three integrated spotlights move as one complete composition, creating a particularly cohesive accessible bathroom feature.
Integrated wall system A compact wall-mounted electric system that integrates the basin, mirror and overhead lighting into one coordinated height-adjustable unit.
Manual & Assisted Adjustment
Manual systems can be the right solution for a single-user bathroom, an adaptation where the preferred height is set once, or an environment where another person is available to make occasional adjustments.
Choose the 401 when occasional manual height adjustment is enough but the mirror and lighting still need to remain aligned with the basin.
The low-profile 403 provides a generous stepless adjustment range while leaving the mirror or cabinet above completely independent.
Choose the 406 when adjustment needs to be quicker than a wrench-operated system but full electric operation is not required.
Specify the complete basin area
Basin depth, tap reach and plumbing layout determine whether the user can actually approach and use the washbasin once it reaches the right height.

Before ordering
A basin lift interacts with the wall, floor, water supply, drainage, electrical installation and surrounding furniture. Coordinate these details early rather than treating the lift as a final accessory.
Establish comfortable basin heights for the people who will actually use the room.
Confirm suitable fixing and structural support for the exact wall-mounted or floor-supported system.
Flexible water feeds and drainage must remain free throughout the complete travel of the lift.
Electric systems require the correct electrical provision, positioned to suit the selected lift and bathroom installation.
Allow for the full movement of integrated mirrors or ensure a fixed mirror or cabinet remains clear of the basin.
Position electric controls where the intended user can operate the lift without stretching or obstructing its movement.
Check the exact system before installation: adjustment range, basin compatibility, electrical requirements, safety equipment and mounting details differ between models. Confirm the current technical drawing and installation instructions before fixing services or finishing walls.
