One surface, several stages of care
A shower changing table provides a horizontal care surface for a person who cannot comfortably complete showering and changing in a conventional shower seat or standing position.
The table becomes part of a wider care sequence: transferring onto the surface, positioning the person safely, showering, draining water, drying and changing before transferring away again.
Pressalit's SCT range addresses these tasks with wall-mounted tables, folding safety rails and different surface constructions. The height-adjustable versions add another important variable: the table itself can move between a lower transfer position and a more appropriate working height for the carer.

Priority range
Powered transfer & working height
Electrically powered wall-mounted shower changing tables that move vertically so the surface can be positioned around both transfer and carer working height. Current options include SCT 1000, 2000, 2100 and 3000.

Fixed height
Wall-mounted SCT 1000 and SCT 3000 tables for installations where one carefully selected permanent working height is appropriate and powered adjustment is not required.

Accessories
Model-specific accessories including a wall-mounted safety lock for compatible folded SCT tables and splash curtains for SCT 1000 installations.
Height adjustable · Priority range
All four current powered series provide electric vertical movement, but they differ in adjustment range, surface design, table length and the way water is handled.
Current powered range
The SCT 1000 uses an easy-clean coated canvas stretcher and is the current powered option with the shorter 400mm adjustment range.
The SCT 2000 uses a fine mesh lying surface with a water collection tray below, combining shower drainage with 700mm of powered adjustment.
SCT 2100 retains the 700mm powered travel and collection tray but uses a smooth coated-canvas lying surface instead of mesh.
Pressalit's more sculpted SCT design uses a padded lying surface, adjustable head support, water collection tray and extended 300–1000mm powered height range.
Why height adjustment matters
A useful transfer position may be lower than the height at which a carer can comfortably shower, dry or dress someone. Powered adjustment allows the table to serve both stages of the routine.

The simpler alternative
Where the intended carers are comfortable using one established working height and there is no need to lower the surface for transfer, a fixed-height SCT removes the powered vertical movement while retaining a dedicated wall-mounted care surface.

Before specifying an SCT
The shower changing table needs to be considered together with the person, transfer method, supporting wall, drainage and clear space around the table.
Select a lying-surface length and current maximum user capacity appropriate for the person using the table.
Consider wheelchair, hoist or assisted transfer and the position the table needs to reach before care begins.
Compare the 400mm SCT 1000 adjustment with the 700mm movement available on current SCT 2000, 2100 and 3000 systems.
The supporting structure and fixings must be suitable for the table, user and forces generated during operation.
Models with water-collection trays require a suitable drainage route that remains clear throughout table movement.
Check doors, rails, shower controls, pipework and neighbouring fittings against the table's complete operating and folded positions.
