Conventional wardrobe rails can place a large proportion of hanging storage beyond comfortable reach for a wheelchair user or someone with restricted shoulder movement.

The Granberg Butler changes that relationship. Instead of fixing all clothing at a permanently low level, the rail can remain stored higher within the wardrobe and move forwards and down when access is required.

Our physical display contains the previous-generation Butler 720 and 722 systems. These have now been succeeded by the current Butler 730 and 732, but the showroom remains an excellent way to understand the two different storage concepts and experience powered wardrobe movement in person.

What the display demonstrates

One wardrobe can use height in two different ways

Standard-height access

Bring a normal wardrobe rail forwards and down to a seated user.

High-level storage

Use otherwise difficult-to-reach space above lower storage.

Powered control

Move the rail without manually pulling a loaded clothes bar.

Granberg Butler 730

Butler 730 is designed around a conventional wardrobe installation height. The rail travels forwards and down, bringing hanging clothes towards a comfortable reach position while keeping the lower part of the wardrobe available for shelves, baskets, shoes or other storage.

Granberg Butler 732

Butler 732 extends the same powered-access principle much higher. Its longer movement allows clothing to be stored in high-level space that might otherwise be unusable while keeping the lower section available for a second rail, shelving or other wardrobe storage.
