Accessible Toilets
Adjust the position of the complete WC to suit different users, transfer methods and working heights. Choose manual or electric Pressalit SELECT lifters, with TL2 models adding integrated side profiles for compatible folding support arms.
Put the toilet at the height the user needs
Toilet height can have a major effect on sitting down, standing up and transferring from a wheelchair. A low position may suit one person while another user may benefit from a substantially higher pan.
A toilet lifter changes the position of the complete wall-hung WC, creating a much wider adjustment range than a conventional fixed installation or raised seat.
That also makes the system useful in multi-user bathrooms. Manual adjustment can suit installations where the preferred height changes occasionally, while electric versions allow much more frequent adjustment with a wired hand control.

Start here
Start with the toilet lifter itself. If folding support arms need to move vertically with the WC installation, select a TL2 lifter and then choose the appropriate compatible arm.

Pressalit SELECT TL1 & TL2
Height-adjustable WC mounting systems available as TL1 or TL2, with manual crank or powered adjustment and versions for both floor and wall waste outlets.

TL2 support
Folding counterbalanced PLUS support arms designed for the vertical side profiles of SELECT TL2 toilet lifters, available in different lengths and handed versions, as well as WC pans.

TL1 provides the height-adjustable WC system alone. TL2 adds integral vertical profiles so compatible Pressalit support arms can form part of the installation.

Pan projection, seat, support-arm length and any shower-toilet functions need to be considered together rather than selecting the lifter in isolation.
Build one compatible toilet systemSELECT TL1 or TL2
Both series move the toilet vertically. The important distinction is whether the installation also needs vertically adjustable Pressalit PLUS support arms.
TL1 is the simpler SELECT lifter where the WC needs to move but support arms do not need to mount directly onto the sides of the lifter.
TL2 adds vertical profiles to both sides of the toilet lifter. Compatible PLUS support arms can mount directly to these profiles and be positioned around the user.

Manual or powered?
Both systems create an adjustable toilet. The more frequently the WC height needs to change, the more useful powered adjustment becomes.
See the movement
A video demonstration makes the practical benefit easier to understand: rather than adapting the user around one fixed toilet position, the WC itself can move vertically to suit the situation.

Secondary range · TL2 support
SELECT TL2 side profiles allow compatible Pressalit PLUS support arms to form part of the lifter system, providing support for sitting, standing and side transfers.

Before specifying the lifter
A toilet lifter changes more than WC height. The pan, support products, drainage, electrical services and transfer space all need to work together throughout the adjustment range.
Establish the WC heights needed for wheelchair transfer, sitting, standing and any other regular users of the bathroom.
Consider how often the height will change and whether the user or carer needs simple powered adjustment while the toilet is occupied.
If support arms need to mount directly to the lifter, specify TL2 and select their length and handing around the user and WC.
Confirm the compatible wall-hung WC or shower toilet, seat arrangement and projection before choosing surrounding support.
Select the correct wall- or floor-outlet lifter and plan any electrical, flushing or shower-toilet services around the full movement.
The wall and fixing arrangement must be suitable for the lifter, WC, user and any support products forming part of the installation.
Toilet lifters are structural and moving bathroom equipment. Always follow the current Pressalit installation and operating instructions for the exact SELECT model selected. Confirm wall construction, mounting fixings, drainage, electrical requirements, compatible WC, support-arm arrangement and clear movement zone before installation.
Adapt the toilet around the user
Start with manual or electric adjustment, choose TL1 or TL2 according to the support arrangement, then match the outlet, toilet pan and surrounding equipment to the complete bathroom.
