- A hole is cut in the worktop and the inset sink is put in position from above. The inset sink is then fastened underneath with fittings while the outer edge lies on top of the worktop. This method is suitable for all types of worktop materials except natural stone. The hole should be cut-out on site by a fitter.
Mounting - Under-mounted
- A hole with an edge is milled out in the worktop from below. The inset sink is then glued on from underneath. The thickness of the visible material above the sink varies depends on the thickness of material. Only suitable for installation in solid surface materials.
Mounting - Planar gluing
- Attaches the sink to a worktop to the flat surface of the sink using adhesives to ensure a secure and watertight seal. Creates a seamless look with no visible edges. This mounting method is often used for under mount sinks. Only suitable for installation in solid surface materials.
Mounting - Under gluing
- Under gluing a sink involves attaching the sink to the underside of the work top using an adhesive to secure the sink in place. Creates a watertight seal and a strong bond ensuring the sink is securely attached, creates a seamless look with no visible edges. Only suitable for installation in solid surface materials.
