Granite Sink ESG-500B – Designed for Modern Inclusive Kitchens – White

The ESG-500B is a white single-bowl quartz composite sink designed for accessible and inclusive kitchens where comfort, ergonomics and everyday practicality are essential.

Its carefully optimised 120 mm bowl depth helps preserve valuable knee and leg clearance beneath the worktop. This allows seated and wheelchair users to approach the sink more comfortably than they may be able to with a conventional deep kitchen sink.

The waste outlet is positioned towards the rear of the bowl, keeping more of the space beneath the front and centre of the sink free from drainage components. This supports a more comfortable working position and provides greater freedom of movement beneath the worktop.

The ESG-500B is a single-bowl sink. Behind the main bowl is a small recessed section that combines the overflow with a useful rinsing and dirty-water disposal area. This allows water, leftover drinks and other liquids to be poured away even when the main bowl is occupied, without requiring a separate second bowl.

Manufactured from SILICSANA® quartz composite containing approximately 80% natural quartz sand, the sink has a smooth, non-porous surface that is hygienic and easy to maintain. The material offers good resistance to scratches, stains, heat and impact under normal kitchen use.

The sink is supplied through the Granberg range for accessible kitchen installations and is suitable for both fixed-height worktops and compatible height-adjustable kitchen lifting systems.

Designed for Seated and Wheelchair Use

Many conventional kitchen sinks are too deep for an accessible worktop. A deep bowl reduces the space available beneath the sink and can prevent a wheelchair user or seated user from approaching the work area comfortably.

The ESG-500B has a shallow bowl depth of just 120 mm. This helps preserve the knee and leg space beneath the worktop while still providing a generous single bowl for everyday washing, food preparation and cleaning tasks.

The rear-positioned waste outlet further improves the usable space beneath the sink by moving the main drainage connection away from the user's knees and legs.

Combined Overflow and Rinsing Area

The ESG-500B is a single-bowl sink with a small recessed section positioned behind the main bowl.

This section incorporates the overflow and also provides a convenient place to rinse small items or pour away dirty water and leftover liquids. For example, water, coffee or other liquids can be emptied through this recessed area while the main bowl is being used for washing up, soaking items or defrosting food.

It is not a separate second bowl. Instead, it is an integrated feature that adds useful functionality without increasing the overall depth of the main sink bowl or reducing the knee clearance beneath it.

Flexible Waste System

The sink is supplied with a syphon, flexible waste hose, basket strainer and overflow components.

The flexible waste hose simplifies installation in fixed-height kitchens and is particularly useful when the sink is installed within a compatible height-adjustable worktop system. It allows the drainage arrangement to accommodate the movement of the worktop when correctly planned and installed.

An optional PVD-coated basket waste set is available to coordinate with your tap, handles or other kitchen fittings. The removable basket catches food particles before they enter the drain, helping to reduce blockages while making cleaning quick and simple.

Optional Chopping Board for Granite Sinks – 362 × 300 mm

The optional integrated chopping board is designed to fit securely over compatible Granberg granite sinks, creating a stable food preparation surface while helping maximise available worktop space.

Made from solid SAPELE hardwood without glued joints or fillers, it offers excellent durability and resistance to moisture while helping reduce the risk of cracking. The food-safe, BPA-free and mould-resistant surface is also gentle on knife blades, making it a practical and stylish accessory for everyday kitchen use.

Mounting – Inset

The ESG-500B is designed for inset installation into a suitable worktop. The specified worktop cut-out is 540 × 480 mm and should always be confirmed against the sink before cutting.
