Pressalit PLUS Right-Hand Operated Counterbalanced Support Arm – 850 mm

This Pressalit PLUS support arm combines an 850 mm arm with a total projection of 920 mm from the wall. Mounted on a compatible PLUS horizontal wall track, it can be moved sideways and adjusted in height through a 240 mm range to suit different users.

The ergonomically shaped arm provides support when sitting down, standing up and transferring to or from a wheelchair. Its soft, slip-resistant surface feels warm to the touch, while the enlarged end helps users identify the end of the arm by feel.

The counterbalanced arm folds upwards when not required and can be detached from the horizontal track without tools.

A compatible Pressalit PLUS horizontal wall track is required and is not included.

Counterbalanced Mechanism

The counterbalanced mechanism prevents the arm from moving freely. It remains at the selected angle until the user guides it upwards or downwards.

For example, an arm positioned at 45° stays in that position until it is deliberately moved.

Track and Installation Requirements

This support arm requires a Pressalit PLUS horizontal wall track, product code R98xx112, supplied separately. Tracks are available in lengths from 600 to 3900 mm and can be cut to size.

When the horizontal track is mounted at the recommended height of 852 mm, the support arm can be adjusted between 645 and 885 mm above the floor.

The arm is suitable for use with floor-standing toilets and WC pans projecting 700 mm from the wall.

Pressalit PLUS products are not compatible with older Pressalit wall tracks. Older track-mounted products cannot be fitted to PLUS tracks.
