Set the basin exactly where it needs to be

Maximum manual flexibility without an electric motor

Basicline 403 uses a wall-mounted track arrangement that allows the washbasin height to be positioned continuously across a 300mm range rather than being restricted to a small number of fixed steps.

A socket wrench is used when changing the height, making the system particularly appropriate where the basin is set for a user and then left at that position for a meaningful period.

Keep the mirror independent

A low-profile lift that sits beneath the bathroom design

Unlike Basicline 401, the 403 does not carry an integrated mirror or lighting. That makes it easy to combine the adjustable basin with a separately specified fixed mirror, mirrored cabinet or wider bathroom scheme.

The open space beneath the unit is retained for flexible plumbing and seated approach, while the visible lifting bracket remains comparatively compact.

Bracket-only versions

Choose how far the basin needs to sit from the wall

The live category contains three bracket-only versions. They use the same 300mm manual movement but provide different wall projections, which can help coordinate the washbasin with furniture or a cabinet above.

Granberg Basicline 403 wall mounting and bracket projection
36mm

403-1 · Standard low-profile bracket

Keeps the basin close to the wall where no additional forward offset is required.

120mm

403-2 · Increased wall offset

Moves the washbasin further forwards, useful where the installation needs additional clearance from the wall or furniture above.

220mm

403-3 · Deep-offset bracket

Provides the greatest projection for installations where a substantial forward offset is needed.

Complete basin systems

Pair the lift with the basin shape that suits the user

Current complete 403 systems combine the lift with different Granberg washbasins, flexible plumbing and a long-lever mixer. Projection and front-edge design vary considerably between models.

403-03 / 425-003 Accessible round basin with tapered front edge.
403-10 / 425-010 Rounded accessible basin with thicker front edges.
403-11 / 425-011 Compact 482mm-deep configuration for tighter spaces.
403-15 / 425-015 Shallow solid-surface basin with integrated gripping areas.

What “occasional manual” means

Precision rather than push-button convenience

The 403 can be positioned at any suitable height within its 300mm movement range, but changing that position requires the adjustment mechanism to be operated using a socket wrench.

That can be ideal in a single-user bathroom or an environment where staff or another person periodically resets the basin. Where the same user needs to change the height regularly without assistance, an electric system may be more appropriate.

The Bathroom Area lets you compare the 403 directly against Granberg's gas-assisted 406 and fully electric 433, making the difference between adjustment methods much easier to understand.
