One continuous working surface
Granberg's ERGO sit-on worktops cover the whole worktop unit in smooth stainless steel. On the hob-ready ESFS and ESHS versions, the sink bowl, draining and preparation surface, and the opening for the cooking hob are planned as one complete made-to-order component.
The shallow 120mm bowls preserve more usable room below the sink for a seated user's knees and legs, while the heat-insulated underside and flexible drainage are intended to work with accessible and height-adjustable kitchen layouts.
The current Magento category also contains the related ESF, ESG and ESH sink-only worktops. They use the same core construction but omit the hob opening, which is why the catalogue switcher above separates the two groups.
The two hob-ready choices
Both combine a 120mm shallow sink arrangement with stainless-steel preparation space and a hob opening specified at the time of manufacture. The main decision is how much washing capacity and overall worktop width the kitchen requires.
Designed for smaller accessible kitchens where washing and cooking need to fit into a short run. A single 293 x 400mm shallow bowl leaves space for a hob opening and stainless-steel preparation area.
The larger ESHS combines two shallow bowls with a hob opening and a much longer continuous stainless surface. It suits projects where washing, rinsing, preparation and cooking all need to sit within the same adjustable run.
The hob opening is part of the specification
Granberg's current manufacturer information requires the hob opening dimensions to be specified when the worktop is ordered. The hob itself is not included.
That makes appliance selection an early design decision rather than something to leave until installation. Confirm the exact hob model, its cut-out size, edge clearances and any ventilation requirements before manufacture.
Accessibility below the visible worktop
The underside of a sink-and-hob worktop matters because it occupies the same space a seated user's legs may need to approach.
Reduced bowl depth leaves more potential knee and leg clearance below the washing area and reduces the distance the user reaches down into the sink.
Granberg fits heat insulation beneath the bowl to help protect knees and legs where the sink is used above an open seated-access zone.
Basket wastes, water locks and flexible drain hose components are included so the waste can be planned neatly and can accommodate compatible moving worktop systems.
A 1mm smooth stainless-steel sheet over a fully glued board creates a hygienic, wear-resistant worktop with sink and hob zones integrated into the same unit.
Before the order goes to manufacture
Because these worktops are made to order, the key decisions should be resolved before the stainless-steel surface enters production.
Start with the required washing capacity, overall run length and whether the project needs one shallow bowl or two.
Select the cooking appliance and provide the correct manufacturer cut-out dimensions. The hob is purchased separately.
Plan the left- or right-hand arrangement around approach, adjacent cabinetry, wall position and the intended cooking workflow.
Where the worktop will move, confirm the Granberg lifting system, flexible plumbing travel and safe clearance beneath the hob and sink.
