The Granberg BUTLER 732 is a premium electric wardrobe lift specifically designed to make high-level hanging storage accessible. At the touch of a button, the clothes rail moves outwards and downwards, bringing garments stored high in the wardrobe to a comfortable and convenient working height.

This Umber Grey version features Umber Grey RAL (7022) plastic housings, black anodised aluminium arms and a chrome-plated clothes rail, giving the lift a darker contemporary appearance suited to modern wardrobe interiors.

Unlike the BUTLER 730, the BUTLER 732 uses curved arms and is positioned further forward inside the wardrobe. This allows the clothes rail to travel further out and significantly further down, making the 732 particularly suitable for very tall wardrobes, dressing rooms and high-level storage installations.

The motorised clothes rail has approximately 1118 mm of downward travel and 762 mm of outward travel. The movement is stepless, allowing the user to stop the rail at the most convenient height.

With this extended travel, the full height of a wardrobe can be used efficiently. The clothes rail can be positioned at a very high level in its upper position while still being lowered to a comfortable reachable height when required.

This leaves valuable space below the upper clothes rail for a second hanging rail, shelves, drawers, baskets, shoes or other storage.

Designed for High-Level Wardrobe Storage

The BUTLER 732 is designed for installations where the clothes rail needs to be positioned much higher than would normally be practical.

By lowering the rail by approximately 1120 mm, the lift allows garments stored high above normal reach to be brought down to a comfortable height. This makes it possible to use substantially more of the vertical space available inside a tall wardrobe.

The increased travel is particularly useful in walk-in wardrobes, dressing rooms, high-ceilinged bedrooms, hotels, premium residential interiors and accessible environments where storage capacity needs to be maximised without making clothes difficult to reach.

Up to 3000 mm High-Level Rail Position

A person of average height can comfortably reach to around 1900 mm. Because the BUTLER 732 lowers the clothes rail by approximately 1120 mm, the upper position of the rail can therefore be installed at up to approximately 3000 mm above floor level.

This creates the opportunity to use previously inaccessible high-level wardrobe space while retaining the lower part of the wardrobe for another hanging rail, shelving or other storage.

Curved Arms for Extended Reach

The BUTLER 732 uses specially shaped curved lifting arms rather than the straighter arm arrangement used on the BUTLER 730.

The lift is also mounted further forward within the wardrobe. Together, these design features bring the clothes rail further out from the cabinet as it lowers, improving both access and visibility of the garments.

Electric Out-and-Down Movement

The BUTLER 732 lowers the clothes rail electrically in front of the wardrobe. The movement is stepless, allowing the user to stop the rail at any suitable position rather than being restricted to fixed upper and lower stopping points.

Integrated Safety Stop

The BUTLER 732 incorporates an integrated safety stop designed to halt movement if the lift encounters an obstruction.

This provides an important additional safety feature, particularly in installations where the clothes rail lowers through occupied wardrobe space. The wardrobe layout must nevertheless be planned carefully to avoid trapping or crushing points against shelving, doors, drawers or other fixed fittings.

Bluetooth Control Included

Planning & Installation

• Check the wardrobe width and clear internal cabinet width before ordering.
• Select the correct telescopic rail configuration for the wardrobe size.
• Allow sufficient height for the complete upper storage position.
• Allow adequate clearance for the full 1118 mm downward and 762 mm outward movement.
• The wardrobe must be securely anchored to the wall before the lift is operated.
• The cabinet construction must be capable of supporting the concentrated loads from the motor units.
• The wardrobe side panels and fixing points must be sufficiently strong for the installation.
• Wall construction and wardrobe fixings may require reinforcement depending on the project.
• Do not position shelves, doors, handles, drawers or other fittings where they could interfere with the moving lift.

Important Safety Information

The wardrobe must be securely fixed to the building structure. As the BUTLER 732 moves a loaded clothes rail both forwards and downwards, the system creates changing forces on the cabinet and its wall fixings.

The maximum permitted load on the clothes rail is 30 kg. The wardrobe construction, fixings and supporting structure must therefore be capable of safely supporting the loads generated during operation.

The lift must not be installed where its moving components could trap a user against another fixed object, shelf or item of furniture.
