Granberg Wall Cabinet Lift Diago 504 - 120-180 cm Width

The Granberg Diago 504 is an electric height-adjustable lifting system designed to make wider kitchen wall cabinet arrangements easier and more comfortable to access. Rather than lowering shelves inside the cabinets, the Diago moves the complete cabinet arrangement diagonally downwards and forwards towards the front of the worktop.

This larger version uses the 504-115 lifting unit and is suitable for wall cabinet arrangements measuring from 1200 to 1800 mm wide. One wide cabinet or several adjoining cabinets can be mounted on the same lifting system, providing accessible storage across a substantial section of the kitchen.

As the cabinets move forwards while lowering, their contents are brought closer to the user. This reduces the need to stretch across the full depth of the worktop and can make storage significantly easier to use from a wheelchair or seated position.

The movement is motorised, quiet and steplessly adjustable. It can be stopped at any height, allowing wheelchair users, standing users and people with reduced mobility or limited reach to position the cabinets at a comfortable level.

The lifting frame is installed behind the cabinets, so it does not take up storage space inside them. The Diago 504 can be used with suitable new or existing wall cabinets and integrated into kitchens from a wide range of manufacturers.

How It Works

The wall cabinet or cabinet arrangement is mounted between the upper and lower supporting rails of the Diago frame. When the control is operated, the complete arrangement travels in a controlled curved movement downwards and forwards.

The cabinets lower by up to 435 mm and move up to 227 mm forwards from the wall. This brings the contents closer to the user and positions the cabinets near the front edge of the worktop.

The stepless motorised movement can be stopped at any point, allowing the cabinets to be positioned at a suitable height before being raised neatly back into their original position.

Suitable for Multiple Cabinets

The wider Diago 504-115 can support several adjoining wall cabinets on one lifting system. This provides a practical solution where a larger section of kitchen storage needs to be made accessible without installing a separate lift for every cabinet.

The total cabinet arrangement must remain within the specified width, depth, height and lifting-force limits. The cabinet configuration and supporting rails should therefore be planned carefully before manufacture and installation.

Cabinet Alignment

The fitted cabinets can be fine-tuned in multiple directions during installation. This helps the moving cabinet arrangement align accurately with adjacent fixed units and allows the installer to compensate for walls that are not completely straight or level.

Because the lifting frame is positioned behind the cabinets, the moving units project 110 mm further from the wall when raised. Adjacent fixed cabinets may need to be brought forwards by the same distance to achieve a consistent finished appearance.

Choice of Controls

The Diago 504 is available with a selection of wired, wireless and handheld control options. This allows the operating method and control position to be selected around the user, the kitchen layout and any other Granberg lifting systems within the room.

Safety as Standard

Each Diago 504 is supplied with safety stop plates that are fitted beneath the wall cabinets supported by the lifting system. Wider arrangements may require more than one safety plate to provide suitable coverage beneath the cabinets.

If a safety plate comes into contact with an object on the worktop while the cabinets are lowering, the downward movement stops immediately. This helps protect the user, the work surface and objects positioned beneath the moving cabinet arrangement.

Optional Lighting

Optional lighting can be installed beneath the cabinets to illuminate the worktop and create a practical task-lighting area.

Installation Notes

• The Diago frame is installed behind the wall cabinets and projects 110 mm from the wall.
