Granberg Diago 504 Wall Cabinet Lift

The Granberg Diago 504 is an electric height-adjustable lifting system that makes an entire kitchen wall cabinet easier to reach. Rather than lowering shelves inside the cabinet, the Diago moves the complete cabinet diagonally downwards and forwards, bringing its contents towards the front edge of the worktop.

This movement can make high-level storage significantly easier to use for wheelchair users, seated users and people with reduced reach or mobility. As the cabinet comes forwards while it lowers, users do not need to stretch across the full depth of the worktop to reach items stored inside.

The movement is motorised, quiet and steplessly adjustable. It can be stopped at any height, allowing each user to position the cabinet at a comfortable level before returning it to its raised position after use.

The Diago lifting frame is installed behind the wall cabinet, so it does not take up storage space inside. It can support new or suitable existing cabinets and can be integrated into kitchens from a wide range of manufacturers.

How It Works

The wall cabinet is mounted between the upper and lower supporting rails of the Diago frame. When the control is operated, the complete cabinet travels in a controlled curved movement downwards and forwards.

The cabinet lowers by up to 435 mm and moves up to 227 mm forwards from the wall. This brings the cabinet closer to the user and positions it near the front of the worktop, reducing the need to reach across the work surface.

The movement is steplessly adjustable and can be stopped at any point. The cabinet can therefore be positioned at the most suitable height for the individual user.

Cabinet Alignment

The Diago 504 allows the fitted cabinet to be fine-tuned in multiple directions during installation. This helps the cabinet align accurately with adjacent fixed wall units, even where the wall is not completely level or straight.

Because the lifting frame is positioned behind the cabinet, the cabinet projects 110 mm further from the wall when raised. Adjacent cabinets may need to be brought forwards by the same distance to create a consistent finished appearance.

Choice of Controls

The Diago 504 is available with a selection of wired, wireless and handheld control options. This allows the operating method and control position to be selected around the user, the kitchen layout and any other Granberg lifting systems within the room.

Safety as Standard

Each Diago 504 is supplied with one or more safety stop plates, depending on the selected cabinet width. These are fitted beneath the wall cabinet or cabinets supported by the lifting system.

If a safety plate comes into contact with an object on the worktop while the cabinet is lowering, the downward movement stops immediately. This helps protect the user, the work surface and objects positioned beneath the cabinet.

Optional Lighting

Optional lighting can be installed beneath the cabinet to illuminate the worktop and create a practical task-lighting area.

Installation Notes

• The Diago frame is installed behind the wall cabinet and projects 110 mm from the wall.
