The Granberg Verti 840KB is a white electric wall cabinet lift designed to make high-level kitchen storage easier and more comfortable to use. Suitable for deeper wall cabinets, it lowers the complete shelving unit vertically towards the worktop, bringing plates, glasses, food and other everyday items within convenient reach.

The shelves travel downwards by up to 485 mm and remain level throughout their movement. Unlike systems that swing outwards, the Verti moves vertically inside the cabinet opening, leaving useful worktop space in front of the lowered shelves.

The movement is smooth, quiet and steplessly adjustable, allowing the lift to be stopped at any height. This makes the Verti 840KB particularly useful in multi-user kitchens shared by wheelchair users, standing users and people with reduced mobility or limited reach.

Its compact mechanism fits neatly inside compatible wall cabinets without requiring them to project further from the wall. It can therefore be incorporated into new accessible kitchens or installed as part of a carefully planned refurbishment.

How It Works

The Verti 840KB is installed inside the wall cabinet after the cabinet’s original shelves and base have been removed. At the touch of a control, the complete shelving unit lowers vertically towards the worktop.

The lift can be stopped anywhere within its 485 mm travel range, allowing each user to position the shelves at a comfortable height. Once the items have been used or returned, the shelving unit can be raised neatly back inside the cabinet.

Choice of Controls

The Verti 840KB is available with a selection of wired, wireless and handheld control options. The most suitable control can be selected according to the user’s reach, the kitchen layout and any other Granberg lifting systems being installed.

Safety as Standard

An integrated safety plate is fitted beneath the lowest shelf. If the plate touches an object on the worktop while the lift is lowering, the downward movement stops immediately.

This helps protect the user, the work surface and any objects positioned beneath the cabinet during operation.

Optional Lighting

Optional lighting can be incorporated beneath the Verti to illuminate the worktop and coordinate with other wall cabinets in the kitchen.

The Verti 840KB is the deeper version of the Verti 840 wall cabinet lift. The lift has a nominal depth of 307 mm and requires a cabinet with at least 312 mm internal depth.

Installation Notes

• The original wall cabinet shelves and cabinet base must be removed before installation.
• The cabinet must provide an internal depth of at least 312 mm.
• The Verti 840KB is not compatible with an in-frame wall cabinet because the front frame can create a pinch or entrapment risk.
• Wireless and handheld remote-control options may require an additional electrical socket for the receiver.
• The electrical supply and socket positions should be planned before the wall cabinet is installed.
• Cabinet construction, wall suitability and the required fixings must be checked before installation.
