Granberg Verti 840 - Lowers the cabinets' shelves vertically
Granberg Verti 840 - Lowers the cabinets' shelves vertically
Granberg Verti 840
An electric internal wall-cabinet lift that lowers the shelving vertically towards the worktop while the surrounding cabinet remains fixed in position.
Accessible storage inside the cabinet
The cabinet stays still. The useful storage comes down.
Verti 840 takes a different approach to accessible wall storage. Instead of moving the complete cabinet, an electrically powered shelving unit is installed inside it and travels vertically towards the worktop.
This keeps the exterior cabinetry fixed and avoids projecting the storage forwards into the room as it lowers. Everyday plates, food, glasses and kitchen equipment can therefore be brought to a more practical height while useful worktop space remains in front.
The system can be incorporated into a new kitchen or retrofitted into compatible existing wall cabinets by removing the original cabinet base and shelves.
Choosing your Verti
KA, KB, SA or SB? Four letters become four simple decisions.
The product names look technical, but the logic is straightforward. Start with cabinet height, then cabinet depth, then choose the width and finish.
Start with cabinet height: K or S
K and S identify the two overall lift heights and determine the maximum vertical movement available.
Then choose cabinet depth: A or B
A is the shallower Verti. B provides deeper shelves where the cabinet has enough internal depth.
Choose the cabinet width
Every Verti family covers the same common wall-cabinet widths. The corresponding lift is approximately 40mm narrower than the nominal cabinet width.
Choose the finish
The current range includes White across all four configurations, with Anthracite available on the deeper B versions.
700–840mm cabinets · 307mm lift depth · 485mm travel · White or Anthracite
850mm+ cabinets · 262mm lift depth · 630mm travel · White
850mm+ cabinets · 307mm lift depth · 630mm travel · White or Anthracite
Cabinet dimensions should always be checked against the current technical drawing before ordering. In particular, if the proposed cabinet height falls outside the standard K or S ranges above, confirm the installation with us before cabinetry is manufactured.
Storage comes down without coming forwards
Reach the shelves while keeping useful space in front
Verti moves vertically inside the cabinet opening. That means the shelving can descend towards a seated user without following a large outward arc into the room.
For kitchens where circulation is tight or where the worktop immediately below the cabinet needs to remain useful, that straight vertical travel can be a very practical approach.
The lift can be stopped within its travel, allowing different users to position the shelves at a height that works for them rather than relying on one fixed lowered position.
Two positions. One cabinet.
Stored away when not needed. Lowered when it is.
The exterior wall cabinet remains in the same position throughout. What changes is the height of the internal shelving.
Raised
Shelving stored inside the cabinet
In its upper position, the Verti shelving sits within the wall cabinet and the working area below remains clear.
Lowered
Contents brought into the lower reach zone
At the touch of a control, the complete internal shelving assembly travels vertically towards the worktop and user.
Shared engineering
Different dimensions. The same basic Verti principle.
KA, KB, SA and SB differ in lift height, cabinet depth and maximum travel, but all use the same vertical motorised shelving concept.
Maximum load
Practical capacity for everyday wall-cabinet contents, subject to correct installation.
Movement speed
Smooth powered vertical movement through the available adjustment range.
Cabinet widths
Seven common nominal cabinet widths are covered across all four Verti families.
Electrical supply
Plug connection, with additional electrical planning required for some control options.
Protection rating
Current Verti electrical specification for the lifting system.
The mechanism can become part of the design
White or Anthracite?
White remains the broadest option across the Verti range, while the deeper KB and SB models can also be specified in Anthracite for darker or more architectural kitchen schemes.
Light and discreet
White is available across KA, KB, SA and SB and works naturally with many light cabinet interiors and kitchen schemes.
Darker and more architectural
Anthracite is currently offered on the deeper 307mm KB and SB versions, coordinating well with darker cabinet interiors and contemporary finishes.
Design inspiration
Accessible storage can disappear into very different kitchens
Verti provides the movement inside the cupboard. The visible cabinetry, doors, worktops, colour palette and wider room design can still be developed around the individual project.
Six genuine room settings showing how Verti can sit within very different kitchen styles.

Accessible storage designed as part of the room.

The external cabinet remains part of the wider scheme.

High-level cupboard space becomes usable when required.

Cabinet finishes can remain central to the interior.

The lifting system need not dictate the kitchen style.

Movement is functional; the finished room can remain individual.
Operation, safety & lighting
The details around the movement matter too
Verti combines powered movement with obstruction protection and a choice of control arrangements, while optional lighting can help turn the moving storage into a more complete cabinet installation.
Safety plate beneath the lowest shelf
An obstruction-sensitive plate sits beneath the shelving unit. If it contacts an object while the Verti is lowering, downward movement stops.
Wired, wireless or handheld operation
Several compatible control arrangements are available so the operating position can be selected around the user's reach and the wider kitchen layout.
Add task lighting beneath the moving shelves
Compatible LED lighting options can be incorporated beneath the Verti safety plate to illuminate the worktop and coordinate with neighbouring cabinetry.
Before ordering
Start with the inside of the cabinet
Because Verti fits within the wall-cabinet carcass, internal dimensions and cabinet construction are more important than the outside appearance alone.
Measure cabinet height
Establish whether the shorter K or taller S configuration is appropriate.
Measure internal depth
Confirm whether the cabinet suits the shallower A or deeper B lift before ordering.
Confirm nominal width
Select the appropriate Verti size for wall cabinets from 400 to 1000mm wide.
Check cabinet construction
Current technical information specifies compatible cabinet side thicknesses of 16–20mm.
Plan the power supply
Socket positions and any additional receiver supply for wireless controls should be resolved before the wall cabinet is installed.
Check the area below
Coordinate taps, appliances and other objects with the Verti's lowered position and safety plate.
Retrofit installation involves modifying the existing wall cabinet. The original cabinet shelves and base are removed so the Verti unit can be fitted inside. Current product information also advises against using Verti with in-frame wall cabinets because the front frame can introduce a pinch or entrapment risk. Check the current product documentation before cabinetry is finalised.

The installation video shows how the internal cabinet is prepared, how the lifting assembly is fitted and how the moving shelving relates to the finished cupboard.
Final measurements, electrical requirements and installation details should always be taken from the current technical documents supplied on the individual product page.
