Push-in Door Stops
An Emergency Release door stop replaces the normal door stop on a door frame. In the event of an emergency it can be depressed, allowing the door to be swung outwards (or in the opposing direction) to gain access.
Ideal for home and healthcare applications, to gain emergency access if, for example, a patient has collapsed against the back of the door.
All emergency releases require the door to be operable in both directions, therefore the door must be hung on a pivot door hinge.
It is advisory to fit brush strips for privacy and draught proofing.
