A wall-mounted manually adjustable washbasin lift with gas-spring assistance, allowing the basin to be repositioned without a separate adjustment tool.
Between fixed manual and fully electric
Easier occasional adjustment without adding a motor
Basicline 406 remains a manually operated basin lift, but an internal gas spring assists the movement. That removes the need to use a wrench every time the basin position is changed.
It can therefore suit bathrooms where adjustment needs to be quicker and more convenient than a conventional tool-adjusted bracket, but does not need to happen as frequently as it would with a fully electric system.
Gas-spring assistance
Release, reposition and lock the basin at a new height
A control on the bracket releases the gas-assisted mechanism so the basin can be repositioned through its 190mm travel range.
The basin then settles into closely spaced 12mm positions, giving much finer increments than the 50mm-step Basicline 401.
Downward movement still requires manual input, so suitability should be considered around the user's strength, reach and whether another person will assist with adjustment.

The relatively close spacing between height positions allows the washbasin to be set more precisely than a coarse stepped manual system while retaining simple mechanical operation.

The 406 is particularly useful when several useful basin heights are needed, but the system is not expected to be adjusted independently at every use.

A useful difference from the 403
Practical storage space behind the washbasin
The top of the 406 bracket forms a level surface behind the basin, providing a convenient place for smaller bathroom items while keeping the area beneath the basin relatively open.
The low-level bracket can also sit beneath a separately chosen fixed mirror or cabinet, allowing the surrounding bathroom design to remain independent from the basin lift.
