A streamlined Baselift for cooking and preparation

LA means a slimmer 40mm front

Baselift 6300LA and 6310LA create a straight, electrically height-adjustable kitchen worktop with open knee and leg space beneath the working surface.

The defining feature of the LA configuration is its low 40mm front. That makes it particularly well suited to preparation surfaces and worktops containing a cooking hob, where the deeper space required for a sink bowl or drawer is not needed.

At the touch of a control, the complete worktop can travel through 300mm of stepless adjustment, allowing the same preparation or cooking area to be positioned for seated and standing users.

One distinction worth getting right

LA for worktops and hobs. HA for sinks and drawers.

Both families use the Baselift 6300 / 6310 principle, but their front-frame depth is designed around different kitchen functions.

HA — sinks & drawers

The deeper Baselift front creates space for features that require more room beneath the worktop.

  • Shallow kitchen sinks
  • Drawer integration
  • Deeper under-worktop components
  • More complex working areas

Cooking at the right working height

Move the hob with the worktop

A hob installed into the adjustable surface moves together with the surrounding worktop, allowing the cooking position itself to be set at a more suitable working height.

This is different from simply installing a permanently lowered worktop. The same cooking area can be adjusted again when a standing user needs it.

The hob position, supporting frame, electrical connection and safety protection should therefore be considered together when the worktop is designed.

Choosing the mounting method

6300LA or 6310LA? The difference is what supports the lift.

The working principle, adjustment range and 40mm LA front are shared. The choice between 6300 and 6310 is fundamentally a structural one: wall mounted or floor mounted.

Baselift 6300LA

Wall mounted

The lifting system is supported from a suitable structural wall. This keeps the floor area beneath the worktop comparatively open and can create a particularly clean accessible working zone.

Baselift 6310LA

Floor mounted

The lifting system is supported from the floor rather than relying on the wall structure. This provides an alternative where suitable structural wall fixing is unavailable or undesirable.

Main lifting frames

Three catalogue bands cover worktops up to 2400mm

Both wall-mounted 6300LA and floor-mounted 6310LA are listed in three width bands. The required finished width is then specified within the appropriate product.

590–1000

Compact runs

For shorter preparation areas, dedicated cooking zones and more compact adjustable worktops.

1001–1800

Medium runs

A broad working range for more substantial cooking and preparation areas.

1801–2400

Long single frames

The largest main Baselift width band before a Plusmodule becomes relevant for still longer runs.

Need a moving worktop longer than 2400mm? That is where the Plusmodule system becomes particularly useful, extending the adjustable run beyond the normal single-frame length.

Extend the adjustable surface

A Plusmodule makes the moving worktop longer

A Plusmodule is an additional Baselift section designed to work with a compatible main lift. It allows a longer worktop run to move as one coordinated height-adjustable surface.

On straight 6300LA and 6310LA installations, Plusmodules are particularly useful where the required adjustable worktop exceeds 2400mm.

They can also help with space planning because the division between the main lift and extension allows the supporting motors to be positioned around some wall obstructions.

Before ordering

Six things to resolve before the worktop is manufactured

Baselift dimensions interact with the worktop, adjoining furniture, hob and structure of the room. Resolve these together rather than specifying the frame in isolation.

01

Choose wall or floor mounting

Confirm whether the structure suits a wall-mounted 6300LA or floor-mounted 6310LA.

02

Confirm the exact width

Select the correct catalogue band and establish the final worktop-lift width.

03

Position the hob

Coordinate the appliance cut-out with the lift frame, electrical services and supporting worktop.

04

Allow movement clearances

Maintain appropriate clearance from adjoining fixed worktops, walls and other obstructions.

05

Plan controls and safety

Determine the operating position and whether additional side protection or access control is needed.

06

Decide whether to extend it

Longer adjustable worktop runs should be planned as a coordinated main Baselift and Plusmodule system.

Safety around a moving worktop

Protect the edges and what sits underneath them

Front safety strip The standard front safety strip stops downward movement if it encounters an obstruction.
Side-edge protection Additional side protection may be appropriate where moving edges sit close to fixed furniture.
Hob protection The underside of the cooking area and appliance should be considered as part of the complete moving-worktop specification.
