Bracket-only specification
The products above are the supporting bracket or lifting assembly, not necessarily a complete washbasin package. That gives designers and installers more freedom to choose the basin, tap, plumbing and controls around the project.
It also means compatibility matters. Basin fixing centres, basin weight, projection, flexible water feeds, waste movement and wall construction all need to be checked against the exact bracket being specified.
Some assemblies include additional elements such as a mirror, lighting, safety system or installation cover. Always use the individual product page as the final source for what is and is not included.
Choose by how often the basin needs to move
The adjustment method should follow how the bathroom will actually be used. A basin set once for a long-term user has very different requirements from one shared by multiple people throughout the day.
Best where the preferred height changes only occasionally. Depending on the product, adjustment may use a wrench, lever or another manual mechanism.
A gas spring or cylinder reduces the effort needed to reposition the basin without requiring an electric motor. This can suit bathrooms where tool-free adjustment is useful but constant powered movement is unnecessary.
Designed for frequent changes between users. Electric systems offer push-button or lever-controlled height adjustment and are generally the most convenient option in shared or changing-use environments.

Pressalit offers VALUE, MATRIX, PLUS and SELECT bracket families. Depending on the model, the system can provide manual, gas-assisted or electric height adjustment, plus options such as sideways movement, different controls and safety functions.
Compatibility before appearance
A bracket can only perform properly when the basin, fixings and services have been selected around it. The important details are usually hidden in the technical drawing rather than visible in the product photograph.
Before ordering the bracket
A bracket-only specification gives more freedom, but it also makes coordination more important.
Choose manual, gas-assisted or electric operation based on how often different users will change the height.
Check that the published adjustment range gives suitable seated and standing heights after the basin is fitted.
Match fixing centres, basin width, projection, weight and manufacturer compatibility before ordering.
Water and waste connections must move freely without snagging, stretching or occupying the user's knee space.
Confirm the mounting substrate and reinforcement requirements from the exact manufacturer's installation data.
For powered systems, confirm control type, electrical supply and whether an obstruction safety system is standard or optional.
