Hydromat Double Sided Self-adhesive Butyl External Corner

Hydromat EasyLap Double-Sided Self-Adhesive Butyl External Corners are designed to create a secure, fully waterproof seal at external junctions within wetroom and bathroom tanking installations.

Forming part of the Hydromat EasyLap tanking system, these preformed external corners are used at exposed edges such as boxed-in pipework, nib walls and external wall returns. The double-sided butyl construction allows the Hydromat membrane (15 m x 550 mm, 7.5 m²) and joint tape to bond securely, ensuring a continuous waterproof barrier at critical junctions.

The flexible butyl material accommodates movement within the structure, helping to prevent cracking or failure at edges. Once installed, the surface can be tiled over immediately, significantly reducing installation time compared to traditional tanking methods.

• Apply Hydromat membrane and joint tape, overlapping onto the corner in line with the EasyLap system
