Can HEWI shower seating be removed?
Yes. HEWI offers different approaches to removable seating. The hanging System 900 seat displayed in our Shower Area can be removed from a compatible grab rail, while freestanding HEWI stools can simply be moved out of the shower.
Are all HEWI products automatically Doc M compliant?
No individual product should be treated as making an entire bathroom compliant by itself. Selected System 900 rails are designed for accessible and Doc M applications, but the overall layout, position, dimensions, supporting structure and installation must all be appropriate to the project.
